Connecting Stripe

Stripe takes card and Apple Pay payments in your app for physical products and services. Money goes straight to your Stripe account and Quiny never touches it.

Steps

1. If you do not have a Stripe account, create one at stripe.com. Complete the business details and add a bank account so payouts can be made.
2. In the console open Settings, then Connections, then Stripe, and press Connect with Stripe.
3. Stripe asks you to sign in and confirm that Quiny may create payments on your account. Approve. Quiny receives a connection token, not your keys.
4. Back in Quiny, choose whether to enable Apple Pay. Quiny registers the app's domain and merchant identifier with Apple through your connected accounts; there is nothing to configure by hand.

What Quiny sets up

The basket total, delivery rules you described, guest checkout, receipts by email, and refunds from your Stripe dashboard. Every payment appears in Stripe under your account with the order details attached.

Test mode

Until you submit to the App Store, the app uses Stripe test mode. Use card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future date to place a test order. Quiny switches to live mode when you submit.

Digital goods

Apple requires digital content and subscriptions to be sold through in app purchase, not Stripe. For those, connect RevenueCat. Quiny tells you which applies based on what you sell.

Removing access

Settings, then Connections, then remove next to Stripe, or revoke Quiny under Settings, then Authorized applications in your Stripe dashboard.
