Connecting Shopify

Updated Sep 9, 2026

If you already sell through Shopify, connecting it means Quiny imports your products, prices, photos, variants and stock instead of asking you about them, and keeps the app in sync when they change.

Steps

  1. In the console open Settings, then Connections, then Shopify.
  2. Enter your store domain, for example glowhaus.myshopify.com, and press Connect.
  3. Shopify asks you to sign in and approve the Quiny app. It requests permission to read products, inventory and orders. Writing orders back to Shopify is a separate permission that Quiny asks for only if you want orders placed in the app to appear in your Shopify admin.
  4. Approve. Quiny imports the catalog and shows you a summary: how many products, price range, and which photos it will use.

Keeping in sync

Prices, stock and new products flow into the app automatically. Changes made in Shopify appear in the app within a few minutes and do not need a new build or a review.

Payments

Shopify's checkout is not used inside the app. Payments in the app go through Stripe or Apple Pay through Stripe, and orders can be written back to Shopify so your fulfilment stays in one place.

Removing access

Settings, then Connections, then remove next to Shopify, or uninstall the app from your Shopify admin. Products already imported stay in the knowledge tree until you delete them.
