Writing your first sentence

Describe the business, not the screens. Quiny decides the screens from what the business does.

Good first sentences

• "A skincare shop, five products, mostly repeat customers."
• "Dog grooming, people book a slot and pay when they collect."
• "A bakery. We take pre orders for Friday and Saturday."

Each of these tells Quiny who buys, what they buy and roughly how. That is enough.

Sentences that make Quiny back up

• "A tab bar with four tabs and a carousel on the home screen." This describes an app, not a business. Quiny will ask what the business is first.
• "Something like Etsy." Quiny will ask what you sell and to whom, because that is what decides the design.
