When Apple rejects the app

Updated Sep 9, 2026

Apple reviews every app by hand and sometimes says no. When that happens Quiny reads the rejection, tells you in plain words what Apple said, fixes what it names and resubmits.

Resubmissions caused by our build are free

If the reason was something in the build, such as a crash or a missing explanation, you pay nothing for the fix or the resubmission.

When the issue is the business

Occasionally Apple objects to what the app sells or how, for example a product category Apple does not allow in apps. Quiny tells you plainly and explains the options. This is rare.

The three most common reasons

Crashes during Apple's test, asking for an account without a clear reason, and apps that do too little. Quiny's defaults avoid all three. Read more on the blog: Submitting to the App Store from your own account.
